Edit Text in PDF

With PDFgear, you can edit text in your PDF just like in a Word processor.

  • Launch PDFgear and open the PDF document you want to edit.

  • Click the Edit tab in the top menu, then choose Edit Text & Image to activate text editing mode.

  • Click on the text you want to modify. A blue box will appear around the selected text area.
  • Double-click inside the box to start typing, and a blinking cursor will appear over the text you want to change.

  • Now you can type to add, delete, or change text. Use the toolbar at the top to adjust the font, size, color, bold, italic, underline, or alignment.
  • If you right-click a text box, you’ll see quick options:

Select All: Highlight all text in the box.

Copy Text: Copy the selected content.

Delete: Remove the entire text box.

  • When you’re done, click Exit Editing in the toolbar and save the file to keep your changes.
