Open a PDF
Here are three simple methods to open a PDF on your Mac with PDFgear.
From the PDFgear App
Open a PDF in PDFgear on Mac
- Click the Launchpad on your Dock, find PDFgear, and open it.
- Click the Open File button in the upper-left corner.
- Browse to the PDF you want, then click Open to load it in PDFgear.
From Finder
Open a PDF with PDFgear on Mac
- Find your PDF in Finder.
- If PDFgear is your default PDF viewer, double-click the file to open it.
- If not, right-click the file, choose Open With, and select PDFgear.
Drag and Drop
- Open PDFgear on your Mac.
- Drag the PDF file from Finder and drop it into the PDFgear window.
Tip: All opened PDFs appear in the Recents list inside PDFgear, so that you can find them faster next time.
