Step 1. Use a web browser to go to PDFgear Online Form Filler, and click “Select PDF file” to open the PDF you need.

Step 6. To sign on the filled PDF, go to Form > Signature > Create Signature, where you can create a signature from uploading a picture, typing, or writing, and insert it into the PDF form.
Step 7. When you have finished filling out the form, click Save As at the top left to save it, or click Print to get an uneditable copy that’s no longer fillable.

PDFgear on Mac is an ideal option if you’re looking for more advanced form-filling features (compared with inbuilt methods like Preview), and it’s free to use as well.
Step 1. Download and install PDFgear on your Mac device.
Step 2. Launch PDFgear, click Open File to open the PDF form in PDFgear.

Step 5. When you’re done filling out the form, go to Fill & Sign section and click Signature to create a new signature from typing, drawing with trackpad, or uploading an image. Click Done to insert the signature into the PDF.
