How to Edit a Link in a PDF File

Simply add, edit, and remove links in your PDFs with PDFgear. Navigate with ease by creating and customizing various types of links directly within your PDF documents.

Create & Edit Link

Click the “Link” icon under the Edit tab, and all links in the PDF will appear in blue.

Create a new link by selecting the desired area then configuring the link style and information in the pop-up window.

Choose the Link and Stroke style in the pop-up window. In Visible Rectangle mode, customize color, thickness, and style.

Three types of links are available: Page, URL, or Local File. Select the desired type and input the target details for navigation.

Delete Link

Click “Delete All Links” to remove all links in the PDF, including both added and original ones.

To delete a specific link, click “Link,” right-click on the link field, and choose “Delete Link.”
