How to Navigate a PDF

PDFgear offers single-page and double-page view options for an improved viewing experience of PDFs.

Page Display

Single Page View displays all pages in one column, and Double Page View displays in two columns.

Zoom ratio and rotate options are also provided to cater to different view situations.

Activate Continuous mode for smooth vertical scrolling. Click again to deactivate it.

Customize the Background

Customize the Background

To customize reading background and theme: Switch background to Default/Day Mode/Night Mode/Eye Protection Mode/Yellow Background, and change the theme to System Theme/Light/Dark, to fit reading preferences and lighting conditions.

Interface Display

PDFgear provides a sleek and eye-caring dark mode in its interface.

To switch between light mode and dark mode, simply click on the theme/background icon in the top right corner.

Three options for theme: System Theme, Light, and Dark. If you need PDFgear in the corresponding theme as the system setting, simply select the System Theme option here.

Page Navigation

To scroll among pages in a PDF, simply scroll mouse wheel or input the page number in the bottom using the bottom navigation bar.

The buttons below are First Page, Previous Page, Next Page, Last Page, Previous View, and Next View. Select the one you need to jump among pages in the PDF.

Auto-Scroll PDF

Enable Auto Scroll mode by simply clicking on Auto-Scroll. It provides 8-speed choices in the sub-menu.

Note: Negative values indicate automatic scrolling from the bottom up.

Slide Show PDF

Click on Slide Show to activate the slide show mode, which allows readers to focus on the content of the specific page without distractions.
