Hide and Delete Annotations

Some users prefer clean and professional-looking documents without any additional markings or notes.

With PDFgear, you can easily hide or delete all annotations in a PDF, including markups, shapes, textboxes, notes, and stamps.To hide or show all annotations in a PDF, follow these steps:

Step 1. Open the PDF document you want to make edits with PDFgear.

Step 2. Access the “Comment” menu in PDFgear and select an option like “Show Annotations” or “Hide Annotations.”

This will toggle the visibility of all annotations in the document.

There are two options to remove annotations from the PDF:

1. Select the annotation you want to delete and then press the delete key on your keyboard, or use the delete icon to delete the annotations.

2. Click the ‘Annotation‘ button in the left sidebar; this will display all annotations in the PDF. Scroll down to locate the annotation you want to remove, then click the Delete button to remove it.
