Insert Signature

PDFgear allows you to sign a PDF: upload an existing signature image, type your signature, or use a handwritten signature.

Step 1. Click on the Signature icon under the Tool tab, then choose Create Signature from the drop-down menu.

Step 2. Now you can upload your existing signature image, type your signature, or use the mouse to handwrite your signature

Step 3. If you want to place your signature on multiple pages, right-click it, then select the “Place on Multiple Pages” option in the appearing context menu. Next, specify the page range on which you want the signature to appear and click OK. The signature will be added to the pages you specified.

Flatten Signature

If you want to prevent others from editing your signature, you can flatten it in PDF. Here are the steps to follow:

Step 1. Choose the signature that you want to flatten, right-click it, and then select the “Flatten” option in the appearing context menu.

Step 2. A window will pop up to affirm the flattening process.

The operation of flattening the signature onto the PDF, once confirmed, cannot be undone.
