Changing the page size of a PDF might cause content reflow or formatting changes, depending on the software or tool used. To minimize formatting issues, ensure that the tool you use offers options to maintain the aspect ratio, scale the content, or adjust the margins accordingly.
Common standard page sizes include A4 (8.27 x 11.69 inches), A3 (11.69 x 16.54 inches), Letter (8.5 x 11 inches), and Legal (8.5 x 14 inches). Most PDF editing tools offer these standard sizes as well as custom size options.
Changing the page size of a PDF can affect the file size, but the impact will depend on the specific changes made and the content of the document. If you’re scaling down the page size and reducing the resolution of images, the file size may decrease. Conversely, increasing the page size or adding content can result in a larger file size.
